Super Mario Bros.-style cover of The Smiths’ “This Charming Man” by Lazyitis (hear the original). I would go out tonight, but I haven’t got a stitch tooooo wearrrrrrrrr.

When I was designing DS Dates, and whenever I could bring myself to exercise a couple summers ago, I’d listen to the first two-thirds of this import album collecting The Smiths’ best, starting at “Panic” and going all the way through “Sheila Take A Bow” straight.

I wasn’t familiar with this tune before then, but now I can sing “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now”, “Girlfriend in a Coma”, and this like nobody’s business. I don’t even mind this cover is missing the lyrics — I can hear Morrissey’s voice in it anyway, and sing along with it no problem.
